Our popular black builder gel is a staple colour in any nail tech’s range, perfect for clients who love a bold, classic black manicure or want a contrasting base for nail art designs.
Our sophisticated jet-black builder gel is ideal for clients who love regular infills of their favourite statement look. Designed using our self-levelling formula, our brush-on-builder gel collection is perfect for a smooth, full-coverage finish.
As with all our BOB gels, our black builder gel is UK-made and HEMA-free to protect clients and technicians from harmful acrylate allergens.
How to use:
- To achieve the perfect finish, start by prepping and dehydrating the nails.
- If available, use CJP’s Clear Rubber IT to provide your gel manicure with an extra layer of support.
- Follow this step with the CJP Clear BOB for a solid first base before applying the first layer of black builder gel.
- Using the BOB Brush, apply a thin first layer and start alternating between thick and thin layers to create a full coverage, professional finish.
- Place the nails under a UV lamp and cure them for up to three minutes.
- Finish the service with an LED CJP 48w lamp for a further 60 seconds to allow the nail surface to harden.
- Remove the dispersion layer with a gel cleaner, or why not use a Top Coat from our CJP collection to create a hard final layer?
- To remove the builder gel, file it off or file to the first thin layer and soak the nails in pure acetone.
